While major league baseball rosters are comprised of 26 men at any one time, most teams will use double or triple that in the course of a season. Pitching staffs often see the most turnover and with the Blue Jays, it's no exception. Toronto made a flurry of moves prior to Wednesday's game against the Angels, including selecting the contract of right hander Braydon Fisher.

Fisher has earned it to after a strong start to his minor league season.
The 24 year old was initially drafted in the 4th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers and was sent to the Blue Jays last year in a trade for Cavan Biggio. Now, he's on the cusp of making his major league debut.
Fisher first himself on the radar thanks to a strong Spring, one in he went 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in four games and had seven strikeouts in 4.2 innings. He carried that success into the regular season with Buffalo, appearing in nine games for the Bisons, compiling a 1-0 record with a 2.38 ERA while also picking up one hold and two saves.
He also a nearly 30% strikeout rate, a BB rate of 8.5%, with a WHIP of 1.15 and a .209 OBA.
While he is quite versatile, look for the Blue Jays to utilize him in one or two inning spurts, especially with lefty Eric Lauer being able to fill the long relief role.
He has an arsenal of five pitches, including a recently-added cutter, and also increased the velocity of his fastball by about 2mph, which currently maxes out in the mid-90s. His main pitch is his slider, which he throws just over 50% of the time.
Welcome to the show Braydon.
