The Toronto Blue Jays are finally getting their respect.

Rich Eisen gets it.
With so much coverage being about what the Dodgers are doing wrong, its refreshing to hear an analyst talk about what the Blue Jays are doing right.
The broadcast, podcaster, and host of the eponymous show on ESPN radio, Eisen has long respected the Blue Jays organization and how they play the game.
All eyes on our city.
Drawing comparisons to last year's New York Yankees, Eisen states that the Los Angeles Dodgers hit solo home runs. Beyond that, they have trouble scoring in the most fundamental ways.
The Blue Jays are turning the Dodgers into the Yankees

The Blue Jays meanwhile, have grinders one through nine, rarely strike out, and hit well with runners in scoring position. It harkens back to a more old-school game, with some statistics and numbers thrown in.

Players like Schneider, Barger, Lukes, Yesavage, exemplify the game

Another thing likes to point out is the salaries.
You could take Davis Schneider's salary... and Ernie Clement's salary...and Nathan Lukes and Addison Barger and mount them on top of each other. Do they even come close to a fraction of what Ohtani is being paid?

But Eisen loves that Toronto. They play baseball the way it should be played
Eisen also opined that Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one game away from being named World Series MVP, a fine cap on a remarkable postseason.
Will it all end tonight?
