The Toronto Blue Jays have a lot of players who have declared free agency after the conclusion of the 2025 World Series.
Major League free agents became eligible to sign with other teams on Thursday, but the minor league free agent market has technically been open since season's end.
Blue Jays Central has
published several posts detailing players who had already elected to become minor free agents.
This list details only players who have played in the Major Leagues, and whose minor league free agency hasn't already been covered Baseball America last month.
Overall, a total of 574 players were declared minor league free agents on Nov. 6, five days after the conclusion of the 2025 World Series.
These players' minor league contract terms expired, typically after the six renewal seasons of their Uniform Player Contract were exercised.
Many minor league free agents this offseason signed initial UPCs for the 2019 season and had their contracts renewed for six seasons after that, covering the 2020 through 2025 seasons.
Out of the 574 players declaring free agency 15 of them were Blue Jays (7 pitchers and 8 position players). Six of those fifteen players (highlighted below) declared free agency today.
