The fact that Ramon was promoted to Dunedin in the first place is not insignificant. Many IFAs signed as teenagers never make it that far, so the Blue Jays clearly see the talent and the potential that Ramon has.
While he has yet to hit his first professional home run, Ramon is on-base machine, putting up a .404 clip last year and having an overall career mark of .394. He also contributed 27 RBIs in 52 games last year, stole 11 bases, and walked more than he struck out.
