Perhaps the Toronto Blue Jays should take a page out of the minor league playbook. Dunedin, the Single-A Blue Jays went on an absolute rampage, defeating the Lakeland Flying Tigers 18-2.
Every starter except J.R. Freethy had at least one hit, though even the Blue Jays' lead off hitter reached, walking twice and scoring twice. All in all the bats broke out for 12 hits, including three home runs.
The biggest star was Yeuni Munoz. The left fielder was a triple away from the cycle as he went 3-4 with three runs RBI and three runs scored. Catcher Edward Duran and DH Bryce Arnold also homered, each hitting a three run shot in a six run fifth inning. With the three runs they put across the board in the third, as well as a seven spot in the fifth, the Blue Jays were up 16-0 heading into the sixth.
Right fielder Alexis Hernandez and shortstop Manuel Beltre each added three RBIs. Beltre is off to a torrid start. Wednesday was already his fifth multi-hit game of the season, and he leads the team with 13 hits, good for fourth overall in the FSL.
