The Toronto Blue Jays have cut down their roster in major-league camp.

The Toronto Blue Jays announced they've optioned pitchers Jake Bloss and Ricky Tiedemann to Triple-A, while right-handers Tanner Andrews, Nate Garkow, and Chay Yeager were reassigned to minor-league camp.
ROSTER MOVES:

🔹 RHP Jake Bloss and LHP Ricky Tiedemann have been optioned to Triple-A
🔹 RHPs Tanner Andrews, Nate Garkow, and Chay Yeager have been reassigned to Minor League camp

Blue Jays option Tiedemann and Bloss while they recover from injuries

Neither Tiedemann nor Bloss appeared in a spring training game for the Blue Jays as both continue recovering from injuries.
Tiedemann experienced soreness in his left elbow during a side session earlier in camp, prompting the team to scale back his throwing program.
Once considered the organization's top prospect, he missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery the previous summer.
Bloss is also working his way back from surgery. He underwent UCL reconstruction early last season after being acquired by Toronto from the Houston Astros at the 2024 trade deadline as part of the return in the deal that sent Yusei Kikuchi to Houston.
Andrews, 30, signed a minor-league contract with Toronto this off-season that included an invitation to spring training.
He made three appearances in camp and did not allow a run.
Yeager and Garkow both entered camp as internal non-roster invitees.
Yeager did not appear in a game this spring after undergoing his own UCL reconstruction surgery on Feb. 25, which ended his season.
Garkow, 28, made three spring training appearances and recorded a 13.50 ERA. in over three spring appearances.
Addison Barger powered Toronto to a 5-0 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.
