Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Daulton Varsho is off to a tremendous start this spring.
Varsho delivered a standout performance Friday, blasting two home runs and driving in five runs as the Blue Jays defeated the Minnesota Twins 6-1 in spring training action.
After a quiet top of the first inning, Toronto came to the plate in the bottom half looking to spark the offense.
George Springer worked a leadoff walk, bringing Varsho to the plate.
Varsho wasted little time making an impact, crushing a pitch 104.9 mph off the bat and sending it 395 feet for his second home run of the spring.

Minnesota managed to trim the lead in the fourth inning. Former Blue Jay Alan Roden lined an RBI single that brought home another ex-Jay, Gio Urshela, cutting Toronto's advantage in half.
Varsho answered right back in the fifth. With runners on first and second, he stepped up and delivered again, launching his second homer of the game with a 100.3 mph exit velocity to extend the Blue Jays' lead.

Varsho finished the game with three hits - two homers and a single - accounting for half of Toronto's total hits on the day.
Addison Barger and prospect Sean Keys each added a single, while Springer and Carlos Mendoza drew the club's two walks.
The Blue Jays return to action Saturday in Dunedin when veteran right-hander Max Scherzer takes the mound against his former team, the Detroit Tigers.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:07 p.m. ET, with Tarik Skubal set to start for Detroit.
