Toronto Blue Jays fans witnessed a dramatic comeback on Tuesday the 43rd of the season for the club.
Entering the bottom of the ninth down two runs and tasked with solving Astros closer Bryan Abreu, the Blue Jays did as they've done all season, stringing together solid plate appearances to scratch across the runs they needed.
After loading the bases with a pair of walks and a single up the middle, Toronto got its big swing from the recently claimed Isiah Kiner-Falefa, who evened the score with a two-RBI single to left.

While they weren't able to finish the job in the ninth, the Blue Jays got a clean inning of work from Jeff Hoffman in the 10th, setting the stage for their American League-leading 43rd comeback win of the season.
With Myles Straw stationed as the game-winning run on second to begin the 10th, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. moved him to third with a hustle infield single, and after Daulton Varsho struck out, Tyler Heineman came to the plate with a chance to work his magic.
The journeyman catcher was originally called upon to lay down a safety squeeze, but he missed out on his first attempt and changed his focus to swinging the bat.
And he did just enough to bring Straw home, sending a ground ball to first base that Christian Walker had to dive for, allowing the run to score without much of a challenge and ending the game.

The play sent Rogers Centre and social media into a frenzy as Toronto claimed one of its most unlikely wins of the season, and perhaps more importantly, extended its lead atop the AL East, thanks to a Yankees loss earlier in the night.
