The Toronto Blue Jays have come to terms with Wake Forest University undrafted free agent outfielder Matt Scannell.

Most undrafted free agents sign pretty quickly after the conclusion of the MLB Draft. However it took nearly two weeks for the Toronto Blue Jays to land their latest addition.
Matt Scannell signed with the Blue Jays on Friday, according to Sportsnet's Zach Worden. The left-handed hitter had his best collegiate season in '25, posting a .978 OPS with 12 homers while spending time in right and centre.
