Andres Gimenez (quad) and Tyler Heineman (concussion) remain on track to rejoin Blue Jays on Tuesday ahead of series vs Phillies.
Gimenez will be todays designated hitter for the Dunedin Blue Jays.
Giménez has had six at-bats the past two games with Dunedin.
Andrés Giménez extends the lead with a two-run single on MLB Rehab Assignment.
The 26-year-old has an OPS of .577 and three homers through his first 36 games with the Blue Jays.
His fielding has been, as expected, exceptional, as Giménez leads all second basemen with six defensive runs saved.
Giménez went on the 10-day injured list with a right quad strain on May 9.
Heineman (concussion) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet reports.
Heineman landed on the 7-day concussion IL after taking multiple foul balls off his catcher's mask, but he seems to be nearing the end of his recovery process.
Heineman was throwing out base runners in his first rehab game for the Buffalo Bisons on Saturday.
Today he will be batting second as the designated hitter for the Bisons.
