The Blue Jays are making a slight adjustment to their roster as Will Wagner attends an important family ceremony.
Outfielder Alan Roden has been called up for Saturday's outing against the Detroit Tigers, and in a corresponding move, Wagner was placed on the restricted list, the team announced ahead of game time.

Will Wagner's father Billy Wagner is among the hall of famers getting inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend. So the Blue Jays put him on the restricted list while he Travels to see his Dad get inducted.
Roden has been with triple-A Buffalo since being optioned in late June. In 32 games with the Bisons over various stints this season, the 25-year-old is batting .331 with a .918 OPS, three home runs and 18 RBI.
He last suited up for the Blue Jays on June 27 and batted .206 with a .589 OPS and one home run in 42 major-league appearances.
Wagner, 26, has done well since being called up in place of Roden and is batting .243 with a .650 OPS in 36 games this season.
