Toronto Blue Jays place catcher on IL and call up replacement

The Toronto Blue Jays have placed backup catcher Tyler Heineman on the seven day injured list and called up Ali Sanchez to be his replacement.

Blue Jays seem to have called up catcher Ali Sanchez from the minors
The Blue Jays take on the Rays for their final game of the series with hopes to finally get a win in Tampa but the big news this morning comes from the clubhouse as a new catcher was spotted.
According to reports, Ali Sanchez was spotted in the Blue Jays clubhouse but no one was certain exactly why he was there since the team had not announced a roster move yet.

Fans were not seem to happy to see
Sanchez in Tampa Bay since it meant that one of the Blue Jays catchers was almost certainly headed for the injured list.
I don't like the sound of that
It turns out that it is Tyler Heineman has gone down with an injury which is apparently a concussion and he has been placed on 7 day IL but it might be longer depending on the severity.
