The Toronto Blue Jays couldn't fly from Phoenix to Anaheim due to mechanical issues of the plane they were scheduled to take on Sunday, so they took a bus.

In an interview with Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that the team bused from Phoenix to Anaheim yesterday because their plane had mechanical issues.
Davidi noted that players voted to bus rather than wait for another plane to arrive, but manager John Schneider said he was still "reprimanded by Mad Max for electing to travel that way," receiving a formal Kangaroo Court summons.
Players voted to bus rather than wait for another plane to arrive, but manager John Schneider said he was still "reprimanded by Max (Scherzer) for electing to travel that way," receiving a formal Kangaroo Court summons.

"We're going to go to trial," said Schneider.
Schneider jokingly told Max Scherzer that he had plenty of cash and could afford to buy his own plane.
Scherzer's humorous objections may stem from Toronto's starter Dylan Cease who got to fly out on a commercial flight by himself to make sure he got a proper amount of rest.
"I was like, 'Max, why don't you just buy a plane? You've got plenty of cash,'" added Schneider. "Most players that were playing today wanted to get out of there."

The Blue Jays put starter Dylan Cease on a commercial flight to ensure he had a proper night of rest.
All jokes aside the Blue Jays have a game to win tonight against a Los Angeles angels team that are better than they look.
It's a good thing Dylan Cease got a flight out instead of riding the bus, because he'll need all the rest he can get against Mike Trout and the Angels.
The fact that the disc golfer got to fly out alone adds a little more pressure to Cease, because if he doesn't perform well, all those dudes who rode the bus from Phoenix to Anaheim, will now be riding Cease all the way to kangaroo court.
