The Toronto Blue Jays have signed former Silver Slugger Eloy Jimenez to a minor league contract.
According to MLB insider Mike Rodriguez, the Blue Jays have signed free agent outfielder Eloy Jimenez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
According to my sources, Eloy Jiménez has just reached an agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays. The contract is a minor league deal, with an invitation to Major League spring training camps.

If this signing looks familiar that's because it is. The Blue Jays signed Jimenez to a minor league pact last season.
In 2025 Jimenez spent the last month of the season playing in Triple-A Buffalo, finishing the year hitting .167 in six games.
He hit .246 with five home runs in the Dominican winter league this season.
Still just 29 years old, Jimenez is a six-year veteran of Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles.
Ranked as the No. 4 prospect in baseball by MLB Pipeline in 2018, Jimenez made his debut with Chicago in 2019.
Jimenez will have to earn a roster spot on the 26-man roster, but he's an intriguing addition.
The former top prospect is an outfielder and designated hitter, so the path to playing time is likely blocked. Anthony Santander already fills that role, along with George Springer.
So, if Jimenez is going to earn a roster spot, he would need to beat out someone like Nathan Lukes, Davis Schneider, or Myles Straw.
