The Toronto Blue Jays have added a different look from the back end of their bullpen for 2026 and beyond.
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Blue Jays are in agreement with free agent reliever Tyler Rogers on a three-year, $37MM contract.
The deal, which is pending a physical, includes a vesting option that could take the total value up to $48 million, and comes hours after the acquisition of sidearm righty Chase Lee from the Detroit Tigers.

Rogers has played six-plus seasons in the big leagues without going on the injured list.
While there's obviously some luck involved in avoiding any fluke injuries, it's clear that his underhand delivery puts less stress on his arm.
Rogers has made 403 appearances since the start of the 2020 season. That's 30 more than any other pitcher.
Most of those outings have come in high-leverage situations, as his arm angle continues to flummox hitters.
The 34-year-old authored a 1.98 ERA with 0.94 WHIP and 5.6 K/9 over an MLB-high 81 appearances between the Mets and San Francisco Giants in 2025.
He allowed just four homers with seven walks over 77 1/3 innings.

While some pitchers with extremely low arm slots can struggle with opposite-handed batters, that hasn't been an issue for Rogers.
He has held lefties to a .235/.289/.336 line in 776 career plate appearances. Right-handed hitters haven't fared much better, turning in .246/.282/.350 mark in nearly 1000 trips to the plate.
Tyler Rogers has never thrown a pitch faster than 86 MPH but he's still pretty hard to hit. Maybe you can see why.
Rogers joins a bullpen mix that includes closer Jeff Hoffman, set-up man Yimi Garcia, who is returning from elbow surgery, righties Louis Varland, Braydon Fisher and Tommy Nance, lefties Brendon Little and Mason Fluharty and swingman Eric Lauer.
The Blue Jays have now dished out $277 million in free agency this offseason on Rogers, Cody Ponce, and Dylan Cease.
