There are a lot of questions surrounding the Toronto Blue Jays this season. However the biggest question that fans are asking is about a certain celebrity superfan: The Home Plate Lady. Will we ever see or hear from her again?

For years, a woman has been a fixture at Rogers Centre during Blue Jays broadcasts, sitting behind home plate and taking in games, often wearing scarves.
She even went viral for her unflinching reaction to foul balls hitting the protective netting right in front of her face - and then joking about it a couple of games later.
Toronto Blue Jays Central previously reported that the superfan will not be attending games this year.
The sources - which wished to remain anonymous - said «she has had some health issues» and will be unable to make it to the dome.
These issues apparently aren't something incredibly new. In fact, for the past couple of seasons, a golf cart took her on the field to her seats.
The news led to an outpouring of support on social media for the superfan.
X user «Blue Jays Dad» offered well wishes and made a pitch for the team to honour Home Plate Lady. «While we will miss Home Plate Lady on our television sets, I wish her all the best and pray for her health. An absolute legend."

«If the Toronto Blue Jays establish a Level of Excellence for fans, she should be the inaugural inductee.» - Blue Jays Dad
Home Plate Lady - who also remains anonymous - has attended countless Jays' games at Rogers Centre and reportedly held those prime season tickets for decades.
A parody account for the Home Plate Lady posted a snap from the home opener of a young fan talking with Rush frontman Geddy Lee - himself a frequenter of the seats behind home plate.
«No, Geddy. I don't know where the Home Plate Lady is,» the post read.

There are actually three home plate lady parody accounts on X, none of them have any affiliation with the real deal though.
Where ever the Home Plate Lady is we all wish her well and hope to hear from her again someday soon.
