For those of you who don't want to remortgage their house to watch the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 6 of the World Series, there is an alternative.
Scotiabank Arena announced it will be hosting World Series watch parties for fans to cheer on the team.
On Oct. 31, fans can head to Scotiabank Arena for its in-arena screening with pre-game programming, giveaways, activations in the concourse, food and beverage offerings and special appearances from team mascots and more.
«Sports have the incredible power to bring people together, and when one of our teams is experiencing success like we are seeing with the Blue Jays' World Series run, Toronto unites like nowhere else in the world,» says Keith Pelley, president and CEO at Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE).
«The Blue Jays are making history and we are pleased to give fans an opportunity to show support and build unforgettable memories as we cheer, celebrate and support them.»
World Series watch party tickets also available for game 7 if needed
MLSE also announced that, if the Blue Jays lose Game 6, they will also host a watch party in Game 7 at Scotiabank Arena.
However, for those who don't get tickets to the Scotiabank screening, head to Nathan Phillips Square.
For Game 6, the City of Toronto will host a free viewing party with a live DJ and Jays trivia in between innings.
Don't forget to sport your best Blue Jays gear and bring a blanket or chair to sit on. Find Nathan Phillips Square at 100 Queen St. W.
