Boone continued to plead his case, getting his money's worth on his way out of the game, which New York was trailing 6-4 at the time.

It took crew chief Ron Culpa intervening to get the Yankees' skipper off the field.
"I went out there just to see who he threw out," Boone said after the game when asked if the ejection was brewing.
"(Gonzalez) kind of lost his mind on me," the manager continued. "Just a couple of calls not going our way tonight, but that wasn't our issue tonight. We gave them too many outs."
Earlier in the game, Boone voiced his displeasure with a called third strike on third baseman Oswald Peraza.
Cameras from the Yankees broadcast picked up footage of Gonzalez apologizing to the New York dugout after that call.
The ejection was Boone's fourth of the season and 43rd of his career.
The Blue Jays added insult to injury for the Bronx Bombers by adding a pair of runs on a Bo Bichette homer in the bottom half of the seventh.
