Prior to Saturday, only three other Toronto Blue Jays players had accomplished this feat. Alejandro Kirk just became the fourth.

What is this exclusive club you ask? It is the number of Blue Jays players that have hit two or more home runs in a post-season game.
Captain Kirk joins Teoscar Hernandez, Danny Jansen, and Blue Jays legend Jose Bautista as the only players in franchise history to accomplish this feat. Not even during the glory years of the late 80's and early 90's did a Blue Jays do what Kirk did.

2022 ALWCS G2 Teoscar Hernandez
2020 ALWCS G2 Danny Jansen
2015 ALCS G6 Jose Bautista
JoeyBats wads the first to accomplish the feat, doing so in game 6 of the 2015 ALCS, which the Blue Jays lost to eventual World Series Champions Kansas City Royals
Former Jays catcher Danny Jansen matched that feat in 2020, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, while Teoscar Hernandez did so in 2022 against the Seattle Mariners.

Blue Jays catcher has five home runs in last three games

It's been a remarkable run for Kirk, who now has five home runs in his last three games, including two in the final game of the season against the Rays.
Kirk has a chance to add his heroics as he is once again behind the plate for game 2.
