Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer looked good in his first rehab stint, while Trey Yesavage struggled in his Triple-A debut.

George Springer joined the Buffalo boys earlier today and looked like his old self, smiling and hitting nukes everywhere.
Springer has never rehabbed in Buffalo before and looks good in the reverse retro uni's.
Never thought we'd see Springer in Reverse Retro 🙂‍↔️
There was no slowing down George Springer or the Bisons on Thursday night at Sahlen Field.
Springer finished his AAA rehab game 1-for-2 with a double (105.8 mph EV), 2 runs scored & a walk.
We'll see if he's back with Blue Jays tomorrow or plays another game in Buffalo, likely in the outfield.
How about a double 105.8 MPH off the bat of George Springer!? 🚀
The rehabbing Blue Jays outfielder walked, doubled and raced around the bases to score two of the Herd's 10 runs in a 10-5 victory over the IronPigs in the third game of their six-game set in downtown Buffalo.
Springer speeding around the bases! 💨He scored a batter later on a grounder from Riley Tirotta!
Springer has been a key cog in the Blue Jays lineup this season, as the veteran was leading the team in home runs (18), slugging percentage (.506), and OPS (.889) at the time of his placement on the IL.
Toronto has been scuffling since Springer has been out of the lineup,

Triple-A Buffalo didn't offer the same welcome that Trey Yesavage has become accustomed to over his impressive first season in the pros

The Blue Jays' top pitching prospect made his debut with the Bisons on Thursday, stumbling through 1.2 innings of work.
He gave up two runs on one hit while allowing four walks and striking out three against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
In a 35-pitch first inning, the 20th-overall pick from 2024 issued three walks and surrendered a hit, including a wild pitch to fall behind 2-0 against the Philadelphia Phillies' top farm club.
Yesavage has rapidly climbed through the Blue Jays' system in 2025, posting an impressive 134 strikeouts, 3.01 ERA and 0.93 WHIP over 18 starts in three different levels coming into Thursday.
