Blue Jays' manager John Schneider announces next start for Max Scherzer

Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider announced some good news on the Max Scherzer front on Monday. Telling the media that he is on track to start on Friday for the Buffalo Bisons.
According to MLB.com's Keegan Matheson, Blue Jays manager John Schneider announced that Max Scherzer is on track to start a game in Triple-A Buffalo on Friday.
Max Scherzer is on track to make a rehab start Friday for the AAA Buffalo Bisons. After that, he'll need at least one more rehab outing, John Schneider says.
Scherzer had a successful 50-pitch simulated game Sunday and will throw a bullpen session Tuesday or Wednesday according to Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson Smith.
Assuming he comes out of that without a setback, he'll be cleared for a formal rehab start Friday.
