Toronto Blue Jays catcher Tyler Heineman and outfielder Myles Straw won't let up on Kyle Tucker on social media.
On Sunday, Tucker offered fans a glimpse of his offseason routine, posting photos from a round of golf on Instagram.
The last time a Blue Jay tried to recruit free agent Kyle Tucker on social media, it was Myles Straw offering to babysit for Tucker and his wife if he came to Toronto.
This time around Tucker went on Instagram and asked if: "Anyone was up for a round of golf?"
To which Tyler Heineman immediately replied: "Ya TPC Toronto...see you there."
Myles Straw responded with: "Lets go"
TPC Toronto jumped in the with: "See you on the first tee" ⛳️ ⚾️
Former teammate Alex Bregman responded with: "Dialed in"
The two share a connection as former teammates on the Houston Astros, where they won a World Series together and built reputations as impact players.
Blue Jays appear to be poised to acquire one of at least Tucker, Bichette and or Bregman this offseason
While Tucker has long been viewed as Toronto's top target, the emergence of Bregman in the conversation adds a layer of complexity.
Tucker fits the Blue Jays' need for a left-handed bat and an outfield superstar, but Bregman offers stability at third base.
For Tucker, Bregman's interest does not necessarily eliminate Toronto as a destination, but it does signal that the Blue Jays are weighing multiple paths to upgrade their lineup.
If the team prioritizes infield stability, Bregman could leapfrog Tucker as the preferred option.
On the other hand, if the emphasis remains on left-handed power and outfield production, Tucker still makes the most sense.
Either way, the Blue Jays' pursuit of both superstars underscores how aggressive they are in trying to push past the heartbreak of 2025 and finally capture a championship.
