The Toronto Blue Jays look to take the series lead in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park on Friday night.

It's been an impressive comeback for Toronto, as they lost two games at home to open the series but have since made up all of that ground in Seattle.
Now, they'll look to redeem their defeat in Game 1 as the same pitching matchup from that game is scheduled for tonight's game as well.
Kevin Gausman (3.59 ERA) is back on the mound for the Blue Jays after the veteran allowed two runs in 5 2/3 innings of work while striking out five Mariners in Game 1, while Seattle righty Bryce Miller (5.68 ERA) will look to stifle Toronto's impressive lineup last in spite of his lackluster regular season numbers. First pitch is at 6:08 PM ET on Sportsnet and FS1.

Starting Pitchers Overview

In his last outing Kevin Gausman was able to record 17 outs in Game 1 before allowing Seattle to score a run and ended up given up two runs over 5.2 innings.
Now sporting a 2.38 ERA through 11.1 frames in the postseason, he'll be tasked with ensuring the series lead returning to Toronto.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that rookie righty Trey Yesavage will be available out of the pen in game five.
However, Schneider also said Yesavage was available in game 4 of of the ALDS against the Yankees, he later admitted they had no intentions of using him and that he was just a decoy.
The Mariners will turn to Bryce Miller again after he tossed six innings of one-run ball on short rest in Game 1.
He will be taking the ball on regular rest Friday and will have Bryan Woo available out of the bullpen behind him to provide length, if needed.
