Davis Schneider is prouder than ever to be a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.

It's been a long journey for Schneider to the Big Leagues who was drafted in 2017 in the 28th round by the Blue Jays and spent years in the minor league programs.
However it was during a late evening on Aug. 4, 2023, that his dream became a reality and brought joy to his family.
With his first at-bat in the pros in front of the Green Monster in Fenway Park, he crushed a home run.
Davis Schneider's 1st MLB at-bat: a home run. What a moment for the 28th-rounder.
Fast forward to 2025 in his World Series debut, in his first at bat once again Schneider caught lightning in a bottle by hitting a home run on the first pitch of the game. His dad Steve and his whole family caught it on video to their total disbelief.

Davis Schneider shares heartfelt message about how proud he is to play for the Toronto Blue Jays

Since losing game seven at home to the Dodgers in such devastating fashion, Blue Jays players have been rather quiet, which was to be expected.
After taking some time to gather his thoughts, however, Schneider took to Instagram to share just how much he loves being a part of the Blue Jays.
«I love this team,» Schneider wrote. «The people in this organization are some of the greatest humans I ever known. I loved coming to the park everyday and sharing this stupid kids game with all people I get to call my best friends. Such selfless group of rag tag dudes who love just playing baseball with each other at the highest level. Not the outcome we wanted or hoped for but man what a year. I love every single guy in that clubhouse. We went to work each day and gave it our all. The fans, the city, the whole entire country made this year special and I'm forever grateful to play for a fan base that embodies what a true fan base is all about. I'm so lucky to play for this city and for Canada. I'm proud to be a Blue Jay.»
This years run to game 7 of the World Series has increased excitement about the organization to an entirely new level.
Despite it not ending the way everyone had hoped, there is now an even larger fanbase supporting the Blue Jays in 2026 and beyond.
