It seems as though the Toronto Blue Jays are getting support across borders.

While they have always been Canada's team, it seems as though their support stretches much further than that
Politics aside, for many fans a Blue Jays win has much to do with anti-Dodger sentiment as anything else, wanting and hoping that a Toronto would prove that money can't buy a World Series.
It hurts to cheer against my dodgers, but it's what it is
Many celebrities are backing the Blue Jays as well.
Geddy Lee's fandom is legendary, with the Rush bassist known for having one of the largest collections of baseball memorabilia currently in existence.
Actors that are dual citizens are jumping on the Blue Jays bandwagon.
Actress Sophia Bush, known for her roles on One Tree Hill and Chicago P.D., recently posted s pic on social media, of her with fellow actress, longtime Toronto resident and rabid Blue Jays fan Lauren Holly, that as dual citizens on Canadian soil they have an obligation to cheer for the Blue Jays.
I'm lucky enough to be making a movie with THE Lauren Holly, and she told me that as duel citizens on Canadian soil it's a requirement we root for our Canadian teams. Which I'm into even though I'm from LA, because she's the best @bluejays commentator ever and I love women in sports. Sadly she can't cover the game tonight because we're on set, but she brought me a hat and we did convince the location to give us their WiFi so we're watching between takes and trying not to scare anyone with our screaming. Go Jays!

90's icon Devon Sawa, known for such iconic roles as Casper and Stan, has long been a fan of both the Jays and Dodgers. However, when faced with a decision, he went with his homeland.

Jays receive much support outside Canada, California

Donnie Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green were interviewed on the Toronto set of their new TV Show Boston Blue and even Wahlberg, a Bostonian and longtime Red Sox, held a Jays cap. He also that all of Boston has aboard the Blue Jays bandwagon.
With the Dodgers the enemy for much of the baseball-watching public, many the Blue Jays can jump on the chance, use the support, and announce themselves to the world.
