One thing is clear; they do not like George Springer in LA.

The slugging designated hitter for the Toronto Blue Jays has already been showered with boos while warming up for Game 3 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
While some of the booing is showmanship - and retaliation for the actions of Jays fans against Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani - it is also different for Springer.
Much of the animosity comes from his association with the 2017 Houston Astros, who beat the Dodgers in the years World Series, but were later subject to and convicted of a cheating scandal that rocked the league.
Many players, such as Springer and Jose Altuve, have yet to be forgiven by fans for their fans, even though questions remain about how involved each individual player was.
Reporting live from LA:

They do not like George Springer here.

Treatment by fans nothing new for George Springer

The treatment by fans is nothing new for Springer. He received the same treatment during the ALDS against the New York Yankees. In the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners, many Seattle fans were accused of cheering George Springer's injury after he got hit by a pitch during an at-bat in Game 5.
As Ken Rosenthal pointed out, the Astros scandal was eight years ago and many people have moved on. Springer has success in plenty of other stadiums and should be fined by what he did or didn't do in Houston.
As for the booing, Springer had one thing to say:
I'm here now

That he is.
