Musical acts for Games 3, 4, 5 of the World Series announced

Prior to start of Game 3 of their world series tilt against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced the musical talent for the slate of games at Chavez Ravine.

There will be a country-esque theme for Game 3 as multi-platinum selling artist Brad Paisley is set to sing the U.S. National anthem.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter - and Toronto native - J.P. Saxe will counter O Canada.

Game 4 has a decidedly R&B/Soul Flair. Fellow Torontian and Juno and Soul Train award winner Deborah Cox will have the honour of singing the Canadian national anthem.

R&B star and former The Stunners member Tinashe will sing for the Americans.

Game 5 seems to be biggest guns. Singing The Star Spangled Banner is Hollywood actress, pop star, and general all-around It-Girl Sofia Carson, who many might recognize from her role the "Descendants" series of television films for Disney.

The Canadian singer for Game 5 is perhaps the biggest name of all.

An icon of ballads in Canada, he has won two Juno Awards, written several operas and librettos, and has released a stirring rendition of Hallelujah, perhaps the most famous Canadian song ever written. Rufus Wainwright will be taking the field.

In addition to the musical talent, the Dodgers have also who will throw the ceremonial first pitches for Games 3 and 4.

For game 3, the honour will fall to Hideo Nomo, Dodger icon and the first Japanese player to move full time to the MLB.

Game 4 features Orel Hershiser, staple of the 1980's, one of the heroes of the 1988 World Series, and current member of the Dodgers broadcasting team.

As well as the anthems, each game will also different DJS and food specialities.
