The Toronto Blue Jays are going the World Series and nobody is more proud and excited than their former players.

Former Blue Jays like Josh Donaldson, Todd Stottlemyre, Jesse Barfield, Joe Carter and many more expressed their excitement.
Former American League MVP Josh Donaldson who once famously said, "This isn't the try-league, it's the get-it-done league" was probably the most pumped and excited.
Let's fucking goooo!!!!!!!! World Series!!!!!!
Former two-time world champion Todd Stottlemyre was pumped!
Go crazy Toronto, you're going to the World Series, #WANTITALL
Jolt'in Joe Carter described George Springer's homer as 'poetic justice'
Toronto Blue Jays hero Joe Carter says George Springer homer was 'poetic justice'
Jesse Barfield stated how happy he was for Canada and can't wait for the World Series to start.
It's Going To Be An Exciting World Series!!! I Can Hardly Wait To Watch My Canadian Brothers Battle For The Championship!!!👍🏽🙏🏽👊🏽!!!
Even current players like Chris Bassitt took to social media to express how they're feeling in the moment.
As I'm sitting here about to go to bed I'd love to sit here and give all my roses to George. The truth of this is that he simply is one the best to ever play our game in my life time. But instead, I'll say it's a pleasure to watch the blue jays and say «Old School Wins». 4 more.
Of course Jose Bautista was there in person to witness it all, but didn't want to comment because he said it's "their moment" and he didn't want to take away from it.
BLUE JAYS POSTSEASON LEGENDS. #WANTITALL
Former reliever Erik Swanson who was released by the club in June, holds no animosity and is rooting for his former teammates to win it all.
Wow! Could not be happier for the city of Toronto! The city doesn't sleep tonight!
Former Blue Jays starting pitcher Ricky Romero was in awe of George Springers home run just like the rest of us.
That George Springer home run will forever be one of those «where were you and who were you with» moments in Jays history. Glad I lived it next to my boys and everyone who was at the Rogers Centre last night. EPIC!!!!
Former Blue Jays outfielder and first round pick Travis Snider who made his MLB debut with the Blue Jays wrote a paragraph or two on what it means to him.
As a former first round pick and a guy who made with MLB debut with the Blue Jays, I couldn't be happier for entire Organization and fan base. As a player, I always dreamed of what a World Series would feel like in the city of Toronto and the entire country of Canada. So many great people get to celebrate a well deserved W.

Watching this team grind over the last 7 games was nothing short of impressive. Down 0-2, facing all odds, they dug deep and clawed their way to a game 7 comeback in front of an entire country that has been waiting 30+ years for a trip back to the World Series.

Full transparency, I couldn't have named half their starting line up, but after 7 games of hardball played that team has shown what a winning culture embodies. Everybody stepping up. Bouncing back from tough games. Old guys and young guys, superstars and up/down players, these guys punched their ticket to the big dance.

Tip of the cap to John, the front office, coaching staff, and clubhouse staff for being first class grinders. I'm rooting for the hardware to make its way back north of the border. What a game. What a series. Go Blue Jays
