Dmitri Neonakis has taken to the skies - and gone viral for his Toronto Blue Jays tribute.

The Halifax pilot - and massive Blue Jays fan - is trying to drum up some hope for his favourite team, or in this case, flying up some hope.
We need some inspiration: Halifax pilot draws Blue Jays logo in sky
Neonakis recently took from Halifax International Airport and landed in the small village of Debert, Nova Scotia. While the flight route is innocuous enough, it's what he did while in the air that is catching the nation's attention.
While at the controls, Neonakis swerved and zigged and zagged and in the process created a Blue Jays logo in the sky.
Turns out, Neonakis has done this sort of thing before.
While it is first time navigating a Blue Jays logo, he has created dozens of sky images before, mostly notably during the COVID-19 pandemic.
His first drawing was in 2020, shortly after the Portapique mass shooting, in which flew in the shape of a heart.

Neonakis loves showing his support for Canada's team

While Neonakis wouldn't describe himself as a fanatic, he has been following the Blue Jays since their World Series in of 1993.
Oh, well, I love the Blue Jays. Been a fan since 1993, since the early 90s, the Joe Carter era. I'm not a fanatic fan, I love the Blue Jays, I'm a Canadian, and I support a Canadian team.

The 63 year-old has a good feeling about game 3, which he will be watching from his home in Nova Scotia.
They're gonna win, they're gonna win tonight, we're positive.

Perhaps so. Maybe his Sky Blue Jays is just the inspiration this team needs.
