Hall of Fame pitcher Pedro Martinez joined the MLB on TBS show on Thursday and explained why the 2025 Toronto Blue Jays are for real.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr had a slow start to his 2025 season after signing his $500 million contract extension, but he has been playing a lot better since the all-star break and everyone is noticing.
However, Pedro Martinez wanted to talk about the Blue Jays as a whole before he got to Guerrero Jr.
The first thing Martinez said was how much this Blue Jays team reminds him of the World Champion Boston Red Sox teams he played for.

Martinez took to social media and posted that he believes that the Blue Jays are for real due to the consistency they've had this season.
The Blue Jays have shown they can win under pressure as they lead the American League and continue to play great with a series win over the Chicago Cubs.

Martinez also sent a nice heartfelt message to Guerrero Jr (who is his god son) saying that he is proud of him for how he is playing, and handling all of the pressure, adding that it is like watching his own child grow up.
