After receiving backlash for comments he made about Canada and the Toronto Blue Jays, NFL Star-turned-commentator Jason Kelce is clarifying his remarks.

After talking trash about Canadian baseball Kelce quickly back-pedaled on his comments on the Blue Jays.
In a clip from the New Heights podcast which Jason co-hosts with his brother/future-Mr-Taylor-Swift Travis, Kelce downplayed the hype of the World Series, saying he couldn't get excited about a Canadian team.
You're telling me I'm supposed to get excited about a Canadian baseball team and a team that spends more money than everybody else?. «Who the f*** cares about either?»

Canadian baseball fans voice their displeasure with Kelce's comments

Needless to say, the remarks didn't go down well with Canadian baseball fans, who voiced their displeasure on social media.
Now, Kelce is clarifying his remarks, stating he loves Canada, poutine, and is a known ice hockey fan.
Guys, I love Canada, I have been bamboozled by our social team that failed to show the whole story. How could I not love poutine, maple syrup, and beavers!!...
In his apology, he claimed to be rooting for the Blue Jays over the Dodgers.
Kelce's mea culpa is the second high-profile apology that the Blue Jays - and Canada have received in recent days. It comes on the heels of Prince Harry being seen in a Dodgers cap during game 4, despite the royals' ties to Canada.
After Kelce made a post apologizing on X, he then received the support of some Canadian baseball fans.
