The longest free-agent sweepstakes of the off-season are over.

Kyle Tucker, the biggest name on the market, is going to the Los Angeles Dodgers
Jeff Passan reports that it is a four-year deal worth $240MM.
BREAKING: Star outfielder Kyle Tucker and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in agreement on a free agent contract, sources tell ESPN.
While the behemoth Dodgers - who now seem to be the most-hated team in both Jays fandom and around the league - can never be counted out when it comes to signing free agents, landing Tucker still seemed a bit of shocker as it was though that the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets were the top two finalists for the outfielder's services.
In the end Tucker chose money over length.
While the Blue Jays had allegedly offered a contract up to ten years in length, the Mets had gone up to five years, but with a $50MM annual average value (AAV).
While the Dodgers didn't top either club in terms of years, the did win out on the money front.
At four years/ $240MM, Tucker will have an AAV of $60MM.
While Blue Jays fans are sure to be disappointed in not landing the four-time All-Star and 2X Silver Slugger Award, there were questions about how Tucker would into an already crowded and complicated outfield picture, especially with the recent signing of Kazuma Okamoto.
Additionally, with Tucker off the books, Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro can now turn their attention fully to free agent shortstop Bo Bichette.

Blue Jays need to go all in on Bo

While Bichette has reportedly met with several teams, including the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies, he has yet to sign.
Part of the reason his market has been slow to develop is because it is thought that many were waiting on Tucker.
The Blue Jays now needs to go all in on the popular infielder, who will cost less than Tucker.
The Los Angeles Dodgers strike again.
