The Toronto Blue Jays look for the sweep and division championship against the Tampa Bay Rays in game 162 at Rogers Centre.

It all comes down to Game 162.
The Blue Jays, now one win away from their first American League East title since 2015, have both hands on the wheel entering today's game on the final day of the season.
Toronto holds the tie-breaker and with a win this afternoon, the Blue Jays clinch not only the division, but a bye to the ALDS.
Blue Jays veteran Kevin Gausman is on the bump versus Rays starter Ian Seymour. First pitch is at 3:07 PM ET on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

Starting pitchers overview

The Blue Jays look too Kevin Gausman for the must win this afternoon. In his last outing Gausman (11-10) took the loss giving up four runs on nine hits and a walk over 5.2 innings, as the Blue Jays fell 4-1 to the Red Sox. He struck out seven.
The veteran righty held Boston to one run through five innings before fading in the sixth, giving up three straight one-out hits before a final Carlos Narvaez double knocked him from the game.
It's the first time since Aug. 18 that Gausman has failed to complete six innings, and just the second time in his last nine starts that he's allowed more than two runs, a stretch in which he's produced a 2.37 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 57:11 K:BB over 60.2 innings.
Ian Seymour gets the ball for the Rays today. In his last outing Seymour allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two across four innings against the Orioles.
Ryan Pepiot was chased from the game after only three innings, with Seymour throwing the final four frames.
Seymour wasn't particularly effective and allowed more than two earned runs for the first time in his last five outings. He also needed 89 pitches to record his 12 outs.
