Sportsnet's Buck Martinez announces 'a health setback' will be away from broadcast for an extended period

Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Buck Martinez was supposed to be paired up with Dan Shulman for Monday nights broadcast at Rogers Centre, but has decided to take more time off due to "a little health" setback.
Martinez had originally announced he would return to the booth for the homestand against the New York Yankees on June 30th.
However during the the Blue Jays vs Yankees broadcast Dan Shulman and Joe Siddall announced that Buck would be extending his time off due to "a little health issue."

They also said Buck thanked everybody for the outpouring of love and concern and had this message for Blue Jays fans:
"Hey Blue Jays Fans, I was planning on being back in the booth tonight after some scheduled time off but, I recently had a little health setback.
While I'm feeling pretty good, I'm going to take some extra time off out of an ambundance of caution. I hope to see you at the ballpark soon. As always thanks for all you love and support! - Buck Martinez.

Buck Martinez has had "a little health setback," per the broadcast, and is taking additional time off from Blue Jays broadcasts.

There was an outpouring of love on social media hoping Buck would get better and return to the booth soon.
Buck Martinez is synonymous with #BlueJays baseball. I wish him good health and a quick return to the broadcast booth.
