Anthony Santander should be fine to play tomorrow, John Schneider says. Asked if Santander was an option earlier, but Schneider says he liked Clase's ability to make contact in the 7th. - Keegan Matheson
Blue Jays manager John Schneider says he expects Anthony Santander to be ready to play on Saturday: «Yeah, I think he should be good to go tomorrow. He was feeling better as the day went on.» - Arden Zwelling
Santander has been inconsistent at the plate this season and with his injury that has been pulling him in and out of the lineup, it might bring on more harm than good.
While Santander has been traditionally a slow starter, it may just be a slump, his injury might be more severe than the team than he is letting on which would make sense as to why he has been playing so poorly.
Hopefully bringing him back into the lineup ends up being a good move but it definitely comes with quite a bit of risk.
