Toronto Blue Jays announce roster moves ahead of game three vs New York Yankees

ROSTER MOVES:
🔹 RHP Yimi Garcia reinstated from the 15-day IL and will be active tonight
🔹 LHP Mason Fluharty optioned to Triple-A
Yimi Garcia has been reinstated from the 15-day injured list and will be active tonight vs the Yankees. Mason Fluharty has been optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.
Fluharty has a 5.56 ERA in 37 innings of work this year.
The right-hander's last appearance for Toronto came on May 22 in an extra-innings win against the San Diego Padres.
Garcia pitched one inning, allowing one hit and no runs through the four batters he faced.
He's made a total of 21 appearances for the Blue Jays in 2025, holding a 0-2 record and 3.15 ERA during that span.
Through 20 innings pitched, he's posted three saves while allowing 11 hits and seven earned runs on 24 strikeouts.
Garcia signed with Toronto ahead of the 2025 campaign on a two-year, $15-million deal.
It's his second stint with the club after spending 2.5 seasons with the team between 2022-24.
