Toronto Blue Jays hit four home runs against Tampa Bay Rays in final game of 2026 Spring Training

The Toronto Blue Jays came out swinging against the Tampa Bay Rays and never really stopped, pounding them 14-1 in their final game of 2026 Spring Training.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Alejandro Kirk and Jesus Sanchez each had a two-run homer in a six-run first inning as the Toronto Blue Jays trounced the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.

George Springer's three-run homer capped a seven-run fourth inning for Toronto (12-14).

Addison Barger and Kirk each had an RBI single in that inning, with Sanchez knocking in a two-run double.

Leo Jimenez tacked on a run for the Blue Jays with an RBI single in the eighth.
Carson Williams hit a solo shot in the seventh inning for Tampa's (10-17) one run.
Dylan Cease earned the win for Toronto, striking out six over five innings.
He allowed three hits and two walks but did not surrender a run.
Relievers Spencer Miles, Louis Varland, Mason Fluharty and Braydon Fisher followed Cease to the mound, with Varland allowing the Rays' one run.
Tampa Bay starter Nick Martinez gave up 11 runs on 12 hits and two walks in 3 2/3 innings of work. Six pitchers came out of the Rays' bullpen.
That was the last fictitious game of the season, the real ones start when the Blue Jays host the Athletic's at Rogers Centre for Opening Day on Friday March 27, a battle between one of baseball's new powerhouses and a young club on the rise.
