While Spring Training is normally the time when players get ready for the regular season, several Blue Jays will instead use it to heal the injuries.
Here's a look at where the injured Blue Jays stand.
The only non-pitcher on this list, Varsho is scheduled to miss roughly the first two weeks of the season. His offseason shoulder surgery was a success and he is on schedule to return around the middle of April.
The former ace found himself last year before going down with injury, and subsequently underwent Tommy John surgery in June. He has already started throwing from 90 feet and if all goes well, could rejoin the Blue Jays by late July or early August.

THE REST
The Blue Jays have eight other pitchers currently recovering from Tommy John surgery including Chad Dallas and TJ Brock, who both had a chance to pitch in the majors this year.
The majority of them will be out until 2026.
