Starting pitcher overview
Kevin Gausman (0-1) looks to return to form on Tuesday. In his last outing Gausman took the loss against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five across 5.1 innings.
Gausman wasn't as sharp as he was in his first two starts of the season, as he struck out 21 batters across his first 12 innings this season, yielding just one run and zero walks.
He was pulled in the sixth Tuesday after giving up two singles in the inning, ending his quality start streak at two games, though he was limited to three earned runs on the day after Mason Fluharty stranded the pair of runners.
Gausman has posted a 2.08 ERA and 0.58 WHIP across 17.1 innings this season, and he'll look for his first win of 2026 against the Brewers.
Jacob Misiorowski (1-1) gets the ball for the Brew Crew. In his last outing Misiorowski took the loss against the Red Sox, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks with 10 strikeouts across 5.1 innings.
Misiorowski struck out the first five batters he faced and was trading zeros with Garrett Crochet before Boston broke through in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Misiorowski loaded the bases with three walks, and DL Hall came on with one out in a 0-0 game.
Trevor Story tagged Hall for a two-run double before Caleb Durbin drove in a third run with a groundout.
Misiorowski's stuff was electric, as he averaged 98.8 mph with his fastball.
The 24-year-old has a league-best 28 strikeouts through three starts with nine walks and a 3.31 ERA.
The Blue Jays hitters will be in tough with Misiorowski on Tuesday night.
