Toronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer made a promise and the Toronto Police Mounted Horse Unit are holding him to it.

Blue Jays outfielder George Springer lit up social media after a clip of his postgame comments went viral.
Springer, celebrating the team's division title win, shouted:
«Tarp off, police horse is ready, here we f**ing go!»*
A line that quickly spread across platforms as fans embraced it as a rallying cry.
The moment added to the excitement as the Jays head into postseason play with the AL East title secured.

Toronto Police Mounted Horse Unit pledges horse for George Springer to fulfill his promise

The Toronto Police Mounted Horse Unit responded to his promise to do so by pledging one of their horses for him to ride if they win the World Series.
Hey George Springer we heard someone is looking for a ride. @bluejays GO JAYS GO !!
"Hey George we heard you're looking for a ride down Bremner? We just might have the horse for you. So if the Blue Jays can bring the World Series back to Toronto, this Blue Jay might give you that ride. Looking forward to October baseball Go Jays Go!"

So by the looks of things George Springer's ride is ready to go and the internet is already having fun with it.
George Springer galloping into the American League Division Series like...
36-year old Springer found his footing in this season, accruing 4.6 bWAR while slashing .309/.399/.560 and 31 home runs across 140 games.
106 total runs on the year is where he provided the most value, though, which is the largest single-season total he has put together since 2017.
It will be intriguing to see if this level of success can be carried over to the postseason for Springer, as doing so would certainly help their case for a deep run in October.
Having production from a veteran presence who has been to these levels before and has accomplished deep runs before is a positive since many of the core players are on the younger side.
