Trio of Blue Jays nominated for Silver Slugger Awards.

And now, they have received three nominations for the Silver Slugger Awards, the offensive equivalent to the Gold Glove, which honours the best hitter at each position.

Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and George Springer are all among this years nominees.

Guerrero will be in the running for his second consecutive and third overall award, having won his first trophy during his mighty 2021 season.

Springer is also vying for his third win and his first since coming to Toronto. He previously won twice in 2017 and 2019 as a member of the Houston Astros.

Bichette has yet to win but has a strong chance to do so in 2025. Despite missing the last three weeks of the season, the Blue Jays finished second with 181 hits to go along with a .311 average, 18 home runs, and 94 RBIs in a resurgent comeback season.

The Silver Slugger nominations prove that the Blue Jays are a well-rounded team. While they hit home runs, they were not as big of a power threat as in recent seasons, and their was unheralded to the unfollowing and uninitiated.

The winners will be chosen by managers and coaches - who can't vote for those on their own team - and will be announced on November 7th.
