Good news for Blue Jays as George Springer's considered day to day and likely in there tomorrow per manager John Schneider.
George Springer is OK, Schneider says. Looked scary at the time when he took a knee to the throat, but the #BlueJays don't expect it to be serious.
Bo Bichette (knee) stepped on a ball pre-game. Sounds day-to-day but they don't expect to need tests.
The 35-year-old was 0-for-2 with a walk before exiting and had reached base via catcher interference in Toronto's four-run inning.
Springer entered Monday's contest with a .265/.360/.462 slash line and 11 home runs in 77 games.
