The Toronto Blue Jays are becoming successful at all levels of the organization.
The Vancouver Canadians, the Blue Jays High-A Minor League affiliate, have been named the 2025 Bob Freitas Award winner at the High-A level, an honour bestowed by Baseball America for each of the four levels of minor league baseball.
We are honoured to receive @BaseballAmerica's Bob Freitas Award for the High-A classification of @MiLB! This is the second time the C's have earned this distinction.
This recognition reflects our incredible fans, staff, players, and community.

It was a big year for the Canadians. Rogers field at Nat Bailey underwent an enormous two-year overhaul, mimicking their parent club's own renovations a few years back.
The alterations to the field were as part of MLB's new standards for its 120 Minor League ballparks.
The Blue Jays success and World Series run also positively impacted the Canadians. Not only were the C's the top ticket sellers in the Northwest League for the 12th consecutive season, their social media saw 172% increase in engagements, a 70% increase in impressions, and a 26% increase in followers across all platforms.
That's an equivalent media value of $240,000. Additionally, out of the Canadians 11,660 new followers, over 4500 were added in October and November alone.
Pat Battle, executive Chairman of Diamond Holdings club, which owns the team, released a statement acknowledging the honour.
«Allan Bailey and the entire Canadians front office have navigated an ambitious period of change with exceptional vision and care, all while delivering a first-class experience for players and fans. What this organization accomplished amid major facility upgrades is extraordinary, and the continued devotion of C's fans has elevated The Nat into one of the most vibrant environments in our sport. We are thrilled to see Vancouver recognized with this well-deserved honour.»
Canadians visited by baseball luminaries, high profile celebrities
The Canadians also parlayed their success into visits from baseball icons and A-List celebrities. SportsNet's Hazel Mae was the guest of honour at the inaugural Women in Sports Day, while franchise icons PPat Borders and Todd Stottlemyre took part in a meet-and-greet.
Additionally, actors Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck, stars of the iconic film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, attended a game and led the crowd in a rendition of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game".
The 2026 Vancouver Canadians season begins on April 3rd, 2026, while opening night at the Nat is set for April 7th.
