The Toronto Blue Jays look for the series win against the division rival New York Yankees in the second matchup of a three game set at Rogers Centre. Blue Jays veteran Max Scherzer is on the hill versus Yankees rookie Cam Schlittler. First pitch is at 7:07 PM ET on Sportsnet, TVA Sports and YES Network.

It's safe to say the Rogers Centre has been especially kind to the Blue Jays as of late.
After taking down the Yankees 4-1 on Monday night, the AL East-leading Blue Jays set a new franchise record with their 11th consecutive home win as they improved to 59-41 on the season, tied for the second-most wins in MLB this season.
It's been a month since Toronto lost at home, their last defeat at the Rogers Centre coming against the Chicago White Sox on July 22.
Since then, the Blue Jays have gone 18-5 overall, including three home-series sweeps, the first of which was against the Yankees.
After taking that four-game set, Toronto then swept the Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants before its record-setting win against New York.

Toronto Blue Jays Starting Lineup

2. DH George Springer
3. 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr
4. SS Bo Bichette
5. RF Addison Barger
6. C Alejandro Kirk
7. LF Joey Loperfido

9. 3B Will Wagner
SP Max Scherzer
In his last outing Scherzer (1-0) allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings to earn the win over the Athletics.
Scherzer threw a season-high 90 pitches (59 strikes) to secure his first win and first quality start of the season.
He was sharp through five innings before serving up a two-run home run to Nick Kurtz and a solo shot to Tyler Soderstrom in the sixth.
Scherzer is now at a 4.70 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB through 23 innings over five starts this year.
Yankees rookie Cam Schlittler gets the ball for New York tonight. In his MLB debut against the Seattle Mariners earlier this month, Schlittler struck out seven but allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings.
The Mariners jumped on him for a couple of home runs and four batted balls with an exit velocity over 100 mph, and his command generally wasn't pristine.
Schilittler didn't throw a single slider below the bottom edge of the strike zone, and that pitch led to most of the damage he surrendered.
