Toronto catcher Tyler Heineman was devastated after Game 7 of the World Series and wanted to share his thoughts with Blue Jays fans.

Like every supporter of the Blue Jays, Tyler Heineman couldn't believe what he witnessed in Toronto's game seven loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Heineman took to Instagram to voice his devastation with a heartfelt message for Blue Jays fans

This sucks. This stings. This is heartbreaking.
We wanted this so bad for our team, our families and the city of Toronto. But, as I reflect on the season, I can't help but feel overwhelmingly PROUD. This was by far the most fun year of baseball I have ever been a part of. The way this team battled through seemingly EVERYTHING thrown our way. Somebody gets hurt, someone else steps in and doesn't miss a beat. One guy doesn't get a job done, the next guy picks him up. We give up a run, we come right back and score. This was a TEAM. Every guy pulling their weight and then some.

I can go on and on until I'm blue in the face with the number of selfless players that cared more about the team than they did their bodies. From George, Bo, Ernie and Vlad, to Hoff, Gaus, Bassitt and Biebs. The list goes on and on

I am beyond blessed to call myself a 2025 American League Champion Blue Jay. Thank you to the best teammates I could ever ask for. What a ride. And thank you to the best fans in the game. We have set the standard. And you better believe we will be back sooner rather than later. Until 2026 ✌️
Tyler Heineman has a long list of change of address cards, somewhat of a baseball nomad
He's spent his summers in his share of good hotels and bad motels. He's lived in a whole bunch of good and bad apartments.
He's moved from Tri-City to Lancaster to Corpus Christie to Lehigh Valley to Fresno to Biloxi. City to city. State to state. And that's just some of his adult season.
This is the life of a baseball vagabond, having played for 22 teams in 12 different leagues in a career of hope and belief spanning 14 seasons.
In Toronto Heineman found a home, a collection of players he feels proud to play with, a team like no other after 14 years and 22 stops.
Earlier this season he voiced that sentiment.
«This is the best season of my baseball life,» said Heineman. «These guys here are awesome and this is an awesome clubhouse. Everyone is a different personality here and it's a great mix. We're all individuals but we get along so well as a group.

«And it's a different guy every night (making big plays). Obviously we have our superstars like Bo (Bichette) and Vladdy and George (Springer) should be the comeback player of the year, but the other guys - Clement, Nathan Lukes, Myles Straw, Barger, Schneider, Joey Loperfido - they just keep getting it done. People are just embracing their role and having a lot of fun.»
