While the Toronto Blue Jays may have come up short, Game 7 was watched by an astonishing number of people.
The World Series finale drew an average audience of 10.9 million Canadians, over 25% of the population of Canada.
According to Rogers, those numbers meant that it was most-watched Rogers broadcast ever.
While the average was 10.9 Million, right after
Ernie Clement came to bat with two on and two out in the ninth inning, Canada had an average of nearly 14 Million people watching.
18.5 million Canadians watched some or all of Game 7 of the World Series - that's 45% of Canada's population
Beyond that, nearly 18.5 million people watched some or all of the the finale against the Dodgers, nearly 45% of Canada's population of 41 Million.
Rogers noted the history made in a press release.
The seven World Series broadcasts were the seven most-watched Blue Jays games ever
Across the full seven games, the series drew an average of 7.5 Million Canadian viewers.
