The New York Yankees gut-wrenching final loss to the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS reflects the warts of their 2025 season.
Many believed the Blue Jays were in trouble after dropping the third game, and with a bullpen game on deck for game 4, it appeared that the momentum was changing in the Bronx Bombers favor
However, as soon as the game started it was clear that their relievers were up to the task.
Toronto dominated New York in Game 4 Wednesday night, coming away with a 5-2 road win after dropping Game 3.
To the chagrin of the American media and Yankees supporters, reality set in when the Yankees and their fans had to watch the Jays celebrate on their turf in the Bronx zoo while the Blue Jays and their fans moved on to the ALCS.
