Does Craig Carton have a point? Or is he just bitter?

The New York native and Fox Sports media personality recently branded the Toronto Blue Jays as cheaters, calling them the Astros 2.0, a reference to the infamous sign-scandal that permeated throughout Houston's clubhouse in their championship-winning 2017 season.
His reasoning? After bludgeoning baseballs left, right, and centre in the ALDS against the New York Yankees, the Blue Jays only managed four runs in the first two games of their ALCS against the Seattle Mariners.
Completely ignoring the volatile nature of baseball as well as numerous other factors such a pitching matchups, air quality, and opposing pitching, Carton says this irrefutable evidence of cheating.
Toronto suddenly forgot how to hit a baseball. Which makes me think they were probably cheating against the New York Yankees and were stealing the Yankees' signs. I'll go to my grave thinking that.

His argument stems from the fact that Bryce Miller isn't considered one of the Mariners top starters, yet he held a once-potent Blue Jays in check.

Sometimes, pitchers can have really good days. Sometimes, teams just don't hit.
Carton, who has made controversial statements before, couldn't seem to understand how varying baseball can be from day-to-day.
I'm saying to myself, 'now, wait a minute, Toronto can't hit the ball against this tool, but when Max Fried is on the mound, he couldn't get out of the third inning against this offense?'. Made me start thinking, 'Maybe we have another Houston Astros scandal on our hands with those rascals with Toronto.

Carton made comments before Blue Jays' offence exploded in game 3

It should be noted that Carton made the comments before Game 3, which saw Toronto explode for 13 runs and hit five homers.
While accusations were made during the ALDS, especially during the Blue Jays home games at Rogers Centre, there has been no evidence of cheating and the league has so far, declined to open an investigation.
