In his seventh Triple-A rehab game, the switch-hitting outfielder hit his second home run of the rehab stint against the Scanton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, a 111.5 mph rocket that travelled a distance of 385 feet.
He also hit it from the right side of the plate, the side where he's lagged behind a bit.
He treated himself to a very long 42 second home run trot.
What a rocket of a homer from Anthony Santander during his Triple-A stint with Buffalo 🚀
Anthony Santander returning to the Blue Jays lineup can help spark a sputtering offence along with protection behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr in the absence of Bo Bichette
Santander's bat in the Blue Jays could be a big help, as the offence sputtered in their four-game series against the Rays.
Without Bichette hitting behind him, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has lost protection in the lineup and has been trying to do too much. Santander can easily remedy that.
