Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander hit a solo home run, his second home run since joining the team on a Major League injury rehab assignment.

In his seventh Triple-A rehab game, the switch-hitting outfielder hit his second home run of the rehab stint against the Scanton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, a 111.5 mph rocket that travelled a distance of 385 feet.
He also hit it from the right side of the plate, the side where he's lagged behind a bit.
He treated himself to a very long 42 second home run trot.
What a rocket of a homer from Anthony Santander during his Triple-A stint with Buffalo 🚀

Anthony Santander returning to the Blue Jays lineup can help spark a sputtering offence along with protection behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr in the absence of Bo Bichette

The 30-year-old who is 4-for-22 with one homer so far on his rehab assignment, has been sidelined since late May with a subluxation of his left shoulder.
It's believed Santander will remain with the Bisons as they play their final three games of the season over the weekend, but MLB.com's Keegan Matheson reported that Blue Jays manager will speak to Santander at some point on Thursday.
Santander's bat in the Blue Jays could be a big help, as the offence sputtered in their four-game series against the Rays.
A big reason for the offence's struggles against the Rays was because of the absence of Bo Bichette, who will be out for the rest of the season with a PCL sprain.
Without Bichette hitting behind him, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has lost protection in the lineup and has been trying to do too much. Santander can easily remedy that.
