The Toronto Blue Jays take on the Kansas City Royals in the second matchup of a three-game set at Kauffman Stadium.

All that time spent haggling to make sure that Sportsnet could show the Toronto Blue Jays-Kansas City Royals game on Apple+ was for nothing.
The Blue Jays (89-65) were blown out by the Kansas City Royals, 20-1, at Kaufmann Stadium on Friday, handing Toronto its third straight loss.
Today the Blue Jays will look to redeem themselves as Shane Bieber goes up against Royals lefty Noah Cameron. First pitch is at 7:10 PM ET on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.

Starting pitchers overview

In his last outing Shane Bieber (3-1) came away with a no-decision in a 4-3 extra-inning win over the Astros, giving up three runs on nine hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out four.
The veteran right-hander served up a two-run shot to Carlos Correa in the first inning and dealt with traffic on the basepaths in every inning he worked, but Bieber kept Toronto in the game until finally exiting after 94 pitches (53 strikes) with two on and two out in the sixth after allowing an RBI double to Yainer Diaz.
Since his dazzling Blue Jays debut Aug. 22 in Miami, Bieber has had a little trouble with his command within the strike zone, posting a 16:3 K:BB over three starts and 17 innings but also a 5.29 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
Noah Cameron gets the ball for the Royals on Saturday night. In his last outing Cameron (7-7) took the loss against the Guardians, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks while striking out eight in seven innings.
Cameron was a tough-luck loser Tuesday after Joey Cantillo one-upped him with eight scoreless.
Cameron couldn't shake Jose Ramirez, who homered off him in the first and later doubled and scored in the fourth.
Cameron was able to avoid walks after tying his season high with five his last time out. He also tied a season high with eight strikeouts, his first time reaching that mark since July 13.
